great thanks. i am switching back to the canidae shortly . i did notice that jesse and rufus have had alot of ear infections lately, idont know if its from the solid gold or what , but i am going to monitor them on the canidae to see if it subsides.

Just wanted to say this is a very helpfull thread. It answered a lot of my questions.

What do you think of raw chicken thighs? I don't have a butcher close to me.... So would chicken legs, thighs and breasts bought from the super market be ok? Bones and all?

Absolutely. I feed them all the time. I chop up whole chickens since they are cheaper per pound than parts. Garion's gotten a little spoiled and is starting to eat dry reluctantly. If he gets to the point he won't touch it I'm gonna have to take advantage of Safeways turkeys at .29 cents a pound damn it!!! Thank God we have a huge chest freezer.
