That Nature's Variety came out with new grain-free formulas.

Because I JUST found out.

I want to try the rabbit out for Ella. They lowered the protein percentage to 35%. Or the rabbit formula is at that protein percentage at least.

I don't know where I can get it, though.

OOOH! I didn't know they made a grain free food! Awesome! Thanks for posting! BTW, don't forget to print out your coupon to get a free bag of NV food. ;)

I know! I won't. That's an awesome deal.

I mean, the two bags I fed Ella of NV it was.
She didn't do well on the regular Instincts, but I'm willing to try a formula that has less protein and a different protein source.
She's not too fond of chicken.

I would buy the rabbit! I agree about the protein levels. I feel good knowing it isn't high like Evo. Way to go NV! :headbang:

The kibble varieties of instinct are brand new. I was on the site a few weeks ago and they were only offering the canned varieties. We just started Lola on Instinct with much success (no more ucky ears, yay!) but it's nice to know we have options. I have a feeling this little nut would like the rabbit. lol

Ella's a beef head. She LOVES anything with beef in it. I hope they come out with a beef formula.

I recently got some Addiction Wild Kangaroo and Apples and some Orijen to try on Ella. It's her second day with Orijen mixed in with her Ocean Blue and she seems to be doing well.

Denise, I think your going to be very happy with the NV.
They have so many varieties, flavors, options for feednig , mine loved their raw, but I could not afford it with 3 dogs .

Oh, I definitely will. And I'll add it slowly to her other food and do it that way. I'll add Prozyme to it as well.
I'll only be getting a little bag to start off, too. And it probably won't become her "base" kibble. It'll probably just be added to her rotation. If she responds well to it, that is. :))
