Rabbit

Postby barbponys » Sat Nov 06, 2004 10:17 pm

I decided to try some rabbit on the kids. It's primarily for the pug, he's fine with eating it and has never tested positive for an allergy to it soooooo........... Tonight I cut up a carcass for the two big dogs, cut off 3 small chunks for Goliath and..................THEY WON'T TOUCH IT. Goliath ate it, I've never run into anything he won't eat so at least it will be eaten. I know have a 6 month supply of rabbit in our chest freezer for the little guy. roflmao

I got it cuz it was a really good price, about 2.50 a pound. It usually runs between 4 and 5 bucks a pound around here, when you can find it. I never thought they wouldn't eat it! Oh well.
