It's actually the same thing. Dogs have CCLs, humans have ACLs.

OH yeah.....I just realized that CRANIAL cruciate ligament and ANTERIOR cruciate ligament mean the same thing spatially :))

We know that genetics is a major in hip dysplasia. To what extent is genetics a factor in CCL tears? Or is it mostly a matter of circumstances?
