Postby cbr117 » Wed Nov 28, 2007 10:15 pm

Does your Petsmart carry the high quality foods like timberwolf and natures variety? because mine doesnt. Where can i find these foods, preferably not online?

They don't carry that, but they do carry Blue Buffalo which is darn good. :)

Do you have a feedstore? Check the yellow pages. Generally, feedstores carry the higher quality dog food.

I don't shop in pet stores that sell animals, so all my stuff comes from Pet Food Express or online (PetEdge), except food which comes from the supermarket. Of doom.

Just go to the brand of food you wish to feed your dogs and put in your state or zip and it will bring up who carries what and were.

Alot of the smaller "independent" stores that carry food, carry the "better" brands.

Blue Buffalo is sold at all petsmarts and it's an awesome food.

Are Petsmart and Petco owned by the same company?

No, they are their own independent companies, as far as I know.

Different companies.....totally. The best food, IMO, that PetSmart carries are Blue and By Nature. I personally love By Nature and have fed it for the last year or so that PetSmart has carried it. It's been the one food that ALL my dogs did well on.

I know some of you aren't a fan of a few of the ingredients, but it's not too shabby among the PetSmart selection (and the GA is good too, lots of Omega 3's!)

In addition to Blue Buffalo (excellent food), Petsmart also sells By Nature which is also a good food.

As others have said, most of the food brands' websites will have a store locator link. Do a google search for some of the top brands in which you are interested, and go to each brand's website.

I was able to find two feed stores, one just about 15 minutes from me, and one a good bit further but still a "doable" drive, that carry many great brands of food. Good luck!
