Takeing the pup to the vet tomarrow.......

Postby weaktoast » Wed Dec 19, 2007 7:19 pm

I want to see what you guys think though before I go. Kale had this little bump about two weeks ago it was red and right by his right armpit (if you consider it an armpit on a dog) I had originally thought that it was just a rash, then it started to rise up, now it is just red and almost blister like but hard. It dosnt really seem to bother him and he dosnt mess with it but it is not going away like I had hoped so were going to the vet. I guesss my question is if anyone has ever seen anything like this with their dog? and if anyone might have any idea what it is? Here are a few pictures I took with my phone.

Thank you guys for any INFO!!!!!

that looks very similiar to the histiocytoma my dog had on the back of her head awhile back.

here is a web picture of one for reference

histiocytomas sound scary but are thankfully usually not, just ugly looking.

hope someone else can give you some better input.

we ended up having cricket's removed as it grew quite large and was right in an area where it kept getting irritated.

i wish i took pictures of hers, it was really nasty looking.

good luck at the vet
