Brandy is 2 months at 9.1#!!!!! Her father was 85 and mother 80 and she was the biggest pup in the litter, so im expecting her to be in the 80lb range.

Taffy is somewhere between two and a half, and three years. It's all "best guess" since she's from a shelter.

She's somewhere around 45#'s. I need to weigh her at some point again... it's been a while.

I'm glad someone else asked about this.

Eve was ~55lbs (54 something) the last time we weighed her 1 month ago. She will be a year Jan 20th and I'm expecting she gained a little. Her parents were supposedly 75-80lbs, both of them. I guessing her won't get there but after putting on some muscle and leaning up I'm guessing she end up at about 55-60. She is a lean girl (not ripped but nice).

I always thought the female ABPT was supposed to be 30-50lbs. Why are so many over that now a days? Just because Americans think bigger is better?

Hope to weigh her this week at the vet. Need to stop just to get a treat and teach her that the Vet is a good place

Baby is overweight.. She is 3 yrs. old and probably weighs a good 70-75 lbs. She is short and stocky, but she has a large build, so if she lost more than about 5-8 lbs she would probably look underweight. We are trying to make her lose weight. Shes on a weight control diet, and getting exercise. It's so cold right now though that she has a little trouble getting around.

Mercy is 18-24 months old, and she weighs 63 lbs. She is big for a female. She is at a perfect weight, she doesn't look too fat, and she doesn't look too skinny.

Shane is 10 months old, and he weighs 68-70 lbs. He is not fat what so ever. He is pure muscle. He gets lots of exercise.. Daily walks, pulls light weights and tires around the yard, runs around the backyard like a crazy man, tugs on the flirt pole & spring pole. He definitely gets a workout.

Nevada is 10 months old, and weighs approx. 52 lbs. She's tall so the weight kinda balances itself out.

John Gotti- 5 year old intact male- 56-58 lbs. (he could afford to lose about 2 lbs.)

Magnus- 6 year old fixed male - approx. 88 or 89 lbs. (down from 92 lbs. when we got him in August) we have been having a hard time getting him to lose much more than that, hoping some more will fall off come summer time (hopefully he will learn to swim 8) )

So breeders are not following the standards and are breeding just because? Well I guess IMO not many breeders can about anything but making a buck. Very few actually breed good registered APBT's w/ health, temperament, and the breed ideal in mind
