Franny's hips get the thumbs-up!

Postby FransterDoo » Tue Jan 22, 2008 4:21 pm

Our vet took some x-rays of Franny's hip for us today. We did this for a number of reasons.

Mostly, because she competes in sports that requires jumping and running we wanted to make sure that she had healthy hips now!

and because we hope for her to have a long, full "career" this will give us a nice baseline in 5 or 10 years.

They looked really nice and the vet was excited for Franny during this upcoming season.

I encourage all dog sport folks to get an extra on their rescue dogs before competing - it's given us great peace of mind!

I am sure it is a great relief for you and glad her hips look good.
I did eyes (C.E.R.F.)and heart, but still want to do hips for Paige.

That's great news!

I got Basil's hips xrayed in the fall just to know what was up with them. It feels much better to know.

She's (we're) excited for the all-gril dog team we're running this season!
