Geez, my house stinks! ... Bullysticks

Postby Pit_friendly » Sat Feb 09, 2008 1:02 pm

:\ Why can't I find a decent thick 12 inch bully that doesn't smell so dang bad?! :yucky:

It's a nice quiet cool day and the house is clean for the most part. So, I figure, I'll sit down here for a few and give the guys their treats for the day and wouldn't ya know it.

These horrid things stink to high heaven!! 8l

I think they all stink... people who came into the pet supply store where I used to work would always say things like "man, these things stink, but my dog loves them!"

I vaguely remember (I think?) someone saying they got a free range (or organic) bully stick that didn't smell ... but don't quote me on that..

I don't think the ones from www.e-petsboutique.com smell either... maybe I'm not as sensitive to it. OH, the braided sticks smell something awful, so just get the regular ones. The bully stick canes are an especially good deal.

Yes, they are. Cows have a different kind of penis from what people are used to. Its fibrous, and its folded in half and muscles pull on it to extend it when its needed... since its so fibrous, its a marvelous chew toy when dried!

I'm just... stunned. I never knew what they were but heard they weren't full of fake stuff so gave them to my dog. I feel violated lol

I usually order Ella bullysticks from Clean Run. They truly ARE odorless. No odor what-so-ever and they make them in 12"
