Need a few Guinea APBT's.......

Postby AkainePSP » Sun Mar 09, 2008 5:58 pm

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if I could get a few people to help me out. I need some Guinea APBT's. I make cold process soap and this evening I made dog shampoo bars. I believe with the ingredients this soap has, it would be very soothing to those dogs who may have flea or other skin issues.

Below you will find an ingredient list as well as how each ingredient works within the soap.

Coconut oil- Coconut oil is excellent as a skin moisturiser and softener.

Olive oil- This oil is moisturizing and is mild and by itself (castile soap) produces a very mild soap suitable for small children or those with sensitive skin.

Castor oil - Castor oils acts as a humectant by attracting moisture to the skin and then retaining it there.

Palm oil- Used as a base ingredient in many luxury and expensive soaps. It is considered a vegetable tallow which produces a hard bar of soap which is both mild and cleansing.

Canola oil- Canola oil has conditioning properties and is high in protein.

Neem oil- Neem oil has antiseptic properties and can be used in the treatment of dandruff, skin conditions, and oily skin. This oil also has use in insect repellants.

Jojoba oil- Jojoba oil contains protein and minerals. It is similar to our own sebum which is secreted by our glands, helping lubricate, as well as, protect our skin.

Aloe vera gel- Aloe Vera gel is a mixture of antibiotic, astringent, coagulating agent, pain inhibitor, cell growth stimulator and scar inhibitor.

Oatmeal- Used to soothe sensitive and irritated skin. When wet, the oats help moisturize, soothe and relieve minor skin irritations.

Eucalyptus essential oil- Eucalyptus Oil helps relieve sore muscles, lessens pain, and brings soothing relief to arthritic and rheumatic dogs. Due to its germicidal value, Eucalyptus Oil is a powerful disinfectant for burns, cuts, abrasions, and parasitic skin affections. It can also be used as a natural insect repellent.

Peppermint essential oil- This oil stimulates circulation. Also is an excellent flea repellant .Also acts as an analgesic and reduces pain.

Citronella essential oil- Insect Repellant & Deoderizer.

Lavender essential oil- Lavender essential oil calms, soothes, and helps relieve dry itchy skin.

Lemongrass essential oil- Repels fleas and ticks.

Lye (Sodium Hydroxide) - This is the chemical used to make soap. Without this chemical, there is no soap, period. Sodium hydroxides causes a chemical reaction called saponification. Once saponification is complete, the finished product is soap - and there is no lye in the finished product.

If you would like to be a Guinea APBT. In your reply copy and paste the latest list of names and add your name to it. Then PM me your mailing address.

*Remember these are bars of soap not liquid. Cold process soap takes approximately 4 weeks to fully cure. I will send these out in about 2 weeks you will be able to use the soap then, however your dog will get the most benefits by waiting until April 9, 2008.*

Thanks for allowing me to post this. And thanks for helping me out.

Kelly

Right nothing special. Here are the instructions as to how I would use the shampoo bar:

Wet down your dog

Rub the bar on your dog's coat to make a rich lather

Massage the shampoo deep into your dog's fur

Rinse well

Rub your dog down with an clean, dry towel

Thanks!
