A little odd question...

Postby Sanddi » Tue Jul 01, 2008 12:49 am

Yes, I know this is really weird but I was wondering what the causes of this was.

Keeyah has a few dark spots on her back. (not the huge cow-brown spots) You can only see them if she's wet. Ace is the same way. I think that's really odd...

But here's the question...
Do dogs 'develop' freckles?

Keeyah has a few freckles now when she didn't have any.
Ace has a lot of freckles but he's always had those.

Just a curious question. Sorry if this is in the wrong area.

I wouldn't even know how to google this question so I figured this place is as good as any to ask! :D

Yep, that's normal. My whitey boys have developed more pigment on their skin as they have gotten older too.

Totally normal. My black girl has a freckled tummy. The white one doesn't :dunno:

Sully has black spots on his skin every where.
The ones on his belly are very obvious, while the ones on his nose and ears, cant really be seen unless he is wet!

I figured it wasn't anything bad but just wanted to be on the safe side! lol

Don't tell Ace that you have seen his privates.... He might get embarrassed.

Oh yeah... My Jack looks almost solid white, but throw him in the bathtub and he looks like the sky on a clear night. Speckled little freckles EVERYWHERE! lol

Yep, Kira has them too.
Some on the white blaze on her chest, and some on her muzzle.
