Soleil has finally reached the point where she doesn't get the runs post training or competition. I started giving her plant enzymes about 6 months ago, I think that has really helped.
I found the only treat I could give her is bil-jac (liver, not peanut butter) and carrots.

just thought I would share

ME here is what the holistic vet recommended for Jake. he gets 1/4 teaspoon every day

http://www.pet-dog-cat-supply-store.com ... 3#longdesc

http://www.botanicalanimal.com/PrePro_- ... lement.htm

She said it will take time for it to work If he has been on antibiotics on and off for a while his good bacteria was destroyed. So we have to build him back up. She says that is one of the reasons he gets the runs during stressful times

has Ruby been on antibiotics lately?

Vicki gets a little mushy at agility trials.
I give her Olewo carrots with her morning meal, and it helps a bunch.

sounds like you have her covered

LOL Yes it is a horse probiotic. It can be used on smaller animals - the dosage is adjusted

Zoe gets a horse supplement too Chondro Care with 5 cc a day in her food.
HMMM maybe that is why they love grass so much. They are turning into horses.

Luce gets the runs when she's worked up. I just... deal with it.

I wouldn't be popping her a flagyl though. It is an antibiotic and you still run the whole gamut of creating antibiotic-resistant bacteria with it.
