Yes the jacket is part of our 'Weekend Specials' that start that day (May 9 at 10am) and if you're familiar with the concept things can tend to sell out quickly if they're popular so if you can be there, the $19.99 price tag is probably worth it.

I know I'll be at my local one as employees don't get special picks ahead of time!

Blue kinda hates water because he hates taking baths..

Also does your dog have to be registered thru the city to take them to a local beach ?

I would like to know what a good age would be as well!?!

In general pits don't make great swimmers, they don't carry enough body fat to assist in buoyancy.

I'm wondering about this too...Maili and I are going to the beach again today. Last time she was more interested in the sand than the water lol

That is a false statement if I've ever heard one. That pretty much goes with pits cant swim because their heads are too big statement!

We had our first swimming lesson today. I supported her belly while she paddled around. She didn't really know what to do at first but after a couple more tries she paddled toward the shore then paddled to a huge floating stick :)

I must've looked so funny crouching over a puppy and holding her up with my hands haha

Ok, haven't picked up the jacket yet. Turns out he's a medium, so the large and x-large at Tuesday Morning didn't work.

Anyway, he loves the water, and has some idea that he needs to move his feet because he has taken to DIGGING at the water (about tummy height)....

Absolutely hysterical to watch. He'll dig furiously, and then start moving backwards....goofball!

Hopefully once I get a life jacket on him he'll understand a little better...lol.
