3 puppies!!

Postby 4pittiehome » Wed Nov 26, 2008 8:27 pm

I recently rescued three pit bull mixes from a man that was going to drown them because they did not look pit bull enough. The mother is a full blooded pit and the father is a black shepherd mix. I have been working with a rescue to try and take these puppies but am just trying to get other options just incase things do not work out. They are up to date on shots and are probably 8 weeks old. They are 2 males and 1 female the female was the one I rescued first because I heard he was about to drown her because "She was retarded" she was born with a clubbed foot but has grown out of it as she has got older. Then a couple of days later the man decided the other two was not pit enough. I am a pit bull lover and want the best for these puppies if I took them to the shelter around here they would be PTS because of their breed. Please help these babies find a rescue or a very caring person!! There name are Rudy,Rowdy and Pipper (Im not sure if I spelt them right lol) Rowdy is the brown one and Rudy is the dark brindle and Pipper is the light brindle. Please help me I am at a loss of what to do.

We do not have animal control and I work at the animal shelter. Its very common around here for people to do that so nothing happens to them and we cant do nothing about it. Which really sucks.

Maybe we could set up transport? I am desperate to find somewhere for these babies to go everyone around here wants them for the wrong reasons. I new when I took them on it would be a long and hard process but I didnt no it would be this long and hard I mean i have begged and pleaded and even had a rescue for them to go in AL but then it snowed and it got canceled and we have not been able to set it up again. Where are you located?

Keep in mind that rescues just have a volunteer checking all their messages and might have quite a lag time getting back to you.
Also have you tried putting your zip into petfinder? Maybe you'd get some other rescues. I'm sure you are sick and tired - especially with puppies to take care of and I am so sorry.

I'm still praying for you and the pups.

No im not really sick and tired im just stressed out because I only want the best for these puppies and it dont seem like it will happen. I new what it would be like with puppies once I took them on its just I thought I might have somewhere for them to go before now. And plus I cant say my Boyfriend is all to happy with them right now expecially when all they seem to want to do is whine lol he just dont understand. If it was up to him they would have died.
