Elderly girl needs a special person

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Hell, I'll trade you!

You can take Mia, a healthy, adoptable girl and I can take Ms. Sassy Pants who can chill out with me for a while :)

I am kinda half serious lol !

That's a very tempting idea lol

Each vet is different in their pricing. My vet is $29 for a UA, and probably around a $120 for a full blood panel and thyroid check plus $35 for the office visit.

lol Like I said, I'm half serious. Mia has been sitting with me since April and we've had a helluva time finding someone who's serious, who won't leave her outdoors 24/7, who's other pets are fixed, who know how to deal with a drivey, confident dog etc. lol

Probably not such a fair trade though huh?

Good luck girly! Such a shame she landed in a shelter at her age :(

Everyone on here has been so supportive. I want to thank everyone who has made a donation so far towards her care and everyone who has offered help.
Moon developed some bloody diarrhea which we are hoping is just from too many treats from the shelter volunteers and staff (fecal and parvo test were negative). She will most likely be coming home with me on friday and see the vet then. There is a family here in Baltimore considering adopting her but they are torn since they recently lost a dog to old age. They want to think about it until after the New Year.

The diarrhea has improved. I have recieved enough in donations to cover about half of the initial vet work she needs. Moon remains in good spirits is always happy to have a vistor. Haven't heard anything from the potential adopter.
OlympianAB when I get here out of there can i bring her to the kennel to give her a bath and get help from you trimming nails?

Are you taking her home? Erin is still open to fostering her.

Some of the kennel staff thought the family that might be interested was going to come back this weekend so I left her there last night. If they don't come in today she's coming home with me tonight. Her vet appointment is Monday (the earliest i could get).

I'm glad she will be getting out of the shelter. Glad to hear she is improving from the diarrhea .
