Looking for the "New Paco"

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Don't be sorry! Trust me, after "shopping" for several weeks now I've learned pictures are totally deceiving. I can't tell you how many dogs I've inquired about that have ended up being quite different from their pics.

It's so much like online dating it's scary :skurrd: lol

And he's got a twin, they came in together so if anyone wanted bookends there are two of them ;)

I dunno, he's cute, but he's not the one. I did do a double take when I first saw him, though.

I kind of really like "Speedy" but I'm realizing that a far from home adoption may not be a viable option after all. In theory we'd go to the ends of the earth for the perfect match, but you really need to check a dog out in person before making a huge commitment and I just don't have enough frequent flyer miles :frown:

There's a little guy I spotted on Pet Harbor that just came into the Modesto shelter so we'll see how it turns out. The again, I get a good lead just about every day lol

sorry for the DP ..

i did a search for the distance between Chicago and Huntley where Speedy is..

Trip distance: 50.4681.2 mi Time: 1 hr

Thats not too bad if we have members in Chicago.

Would videos help?
There's a place for videos now on PF, and I'm going to put up one of Pekey (Neo, the blind Peke) so people can see how he moves, how he plays. They'll never believe he is "crippled" once they do! lol
