Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Meet Bella; our new foster

Postby MrClean » Sat Feb 28, 2009 7:32 pm

Well, you may recognize Bella from this thread:
http://www.pitbullforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=114053

We are fostering her for Violet and brought her home a few hours ago. She was a bit timid at first but has opened right up. Cody is playing very nice with her :peace: We'll post more pictures as we find good ones, here's the first few hours:

And as you probably gathered, right now we think Bella seems to suit her well

Sorry, this is not about bella, but your black&white dog. What breed is he? He looks just like our Simon, with a very slightly different pattern, and we have heard pit, Amerian Bulldog, even Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog for him. Not that breed is such a big deal, but it'd be nice to know when somebody asks us.

From what Violet told me the Vet tech who had been taking her home decided to foster her.

No worries. Cody is also a rescue. We think he's a pit/Am Bulldog mix since he's only about 70lbs but as you can see clearly has some Am Bulldog in him. His history is unknown; I adopted him from Seattle's Pit Bull Project just over 3 years ago and they had him in foster for about 22 months.

The person who had been taking teh little red girl home wants to continue to do so. So..i agreed since realistically ti will be easier on teh pup not to be bounced around.

Thank you SO much Eric and Wendy. I truy appreciate you guys pitching in!! Great shots too!

Thanks... we're glad to have her... wait until tomorrow or shortly there after; it just turned into joint zoomies around here & I got some funny pics.

Edit to add: Violet - I completely agree, it made sense to have the tech take the little red girl given the situation.
