Help keep JD Hearing

Postby HAPBTR » Mon Apr 20, 2009 1:36 pm

Hello Everyone,

As you all know we took JD in when her father could not take her with him while he was moving.

We ran into problems when we found out her ears have never seen a Veterinarian sense the day he had her.

She has a chronic Yeast Infection in her ears, which is manageable with medications, but when left un treated, has caused an abscess in her ears that is so deep that is causing problems in her ear canal.

She is going in tomorrow for a Re-Check and drain... It's looking like we're going to have to drain her ear, and possibly take further more from her canal...

We need everyone's help with the funding to keep her ear treatment going. She has already been through so much medication, Re-Checks and Office's trying to keep her from surgery but it looks like this is our final option...

oh poor dog. :frown: my cat was a stray (or a dumpee) and she's got that severe yeast infection and is on her second round of treatment so I know how much that sucks for an animal.

hope she's feeling better as soon as possible.

She had surgery today to remove the mass. She has multiple small masses in that ear all down the canal..and is starting to get them in the other ear as well! Just thought I would update!

She had one surgery and now is going on medication daily to try to down side the other little lumps in her ear.
