Meet Penny... our new foster

Paws crossed please, she goes today for her trial adoption. She met her new brother on Saturday & they got along great. They played for about 3 hours straight! So we all expect this "trial" to turn permanent, but good vibes appreciated.

How long do you do trial adoptions for? Does it depend on the potential owners? Or is there a set time frame. Just curious because we have our first foster in house. She's not available yet, but when she is I'd like to try this trial period out.

It depends on the family & situation as I understand it. Bullseye sets it up between a few days to a week. Penny, given they already had another dog, had a little longer period (1 week) to ensure she and her new brother got along & there weren't any major issues that would cause her to be returned. I think it really depends on the situation & rescue.
