I have offered to help with funds, that is the best I can do at this moment as I do not live in USA, so helping with transport is out the question...and please don't say something like that if YOU'RE not going to help either

was just stating the obvious.

let me know if I CAN help Red.

Yeah, he is dead. He is done suffering and done ending in the hands of heartless excuses of human beings that are worth less of a spit on a sidewalk.

amysmom, i would think you would do best not to stir up a hornet's nest here. you may not be able to "save them all" but those who are allegedly saved ought not land in the same predicament again because the people who rescued them fail them.

you may have been treated to some harsh words and sentiments in the other thread, but seriously: this is how you respond to the news that the dog is dead?

I wasn't going to respond until you wrote this. Can you tell me why you don't feel responsible? You took him in. You placed him in a home with cats even though he didn't like your cats. You knew he was being tied out on a short leash and didn't bother going and getting him. I think you even said you could hear him whining and yet you did nothing. You dumped this dog on the first person willing to take him.
No I'm not perfect but I do take my responsibilities seriously. He would have been better off pts before having to deal with all the people trying to "save" him.
