collar donation to a rescue...

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

collar donation to a rescue...

I hope this is the right section to post this thread? I figured since rescues would be likely to browse this section, I'd post here..if not okay, please feel free to move this thread mods to correct location :))

I accidentally ordered the wrong size collar for Max. It's WAY too big for Max. I want to donate this collar to a rescue.

It's a brand new BLOCKY DOG collar. It's 1.5inch red with a royal blue stripe down the middle. (I will post a picture of the collar on Monday when I get home from work).

It would fit a big dog with the neck size of 24+.

Any rescue out there with a dog with a neck that big?

Just let me know :)

What about asking Clackamas who they like to use for large breed dog rescues? If they have one in particular they love, maybe donate to them?

I'm with Vi - that Mastiff I fostered a long while back ago would have probably fit into a collar that size. That is really large! I love the Blocky Dog collars - I'm sure it is very nice.

Yeah I will talk to Diana, otherwise I will wait until a big dog comes into the shelter and give it to that dog, unless I find the collar a home before then. Yeah it's a huge collar. I don't know what I was thinking ordering a size that big?! :huh?:

I also thought about looking for dogs on petfinder in my area that seemed big enough to wear the collar. :)

It's beautiful!

...how does that bee pollen work for you? That is one supplement I've wanted to add for my dogs, but never have.

I love the pollen, I just don't what's really working since I give so many supplements to my dogs lol I've been cutting back on the supplementing recently and now I'm only giving the bee pollen, coconut oil and the green blend.

The biggest neck size we have at our house is 22 inches.

But, here are some rescues or rescue dogs in your area that may be able to wear the collar:

I've heard nothing but good about the Deaf Dane rescue, or the Mastiff rescue. Probably either would be great choices. You may want to ask your resources about the other rescue.

There's a neo rescue up here that I see once a month. If you haven't found anything by the next time (should be about two weeks)i would happily pass it on to her.
