She would be MANAGABLE with cats if someone were savvy and committed to it. If they aren't moving, she ignores them.

That's so tempting! She has a cat, who tends to stay away from dogs (she dog-sat recently). I'm not really sure how it would go. We've been discussing senior rescue to help those senior dogs who lose homes so late in life - and that would also pretty much guarantee a set-in temperament when it comes to other animals (since she'd prefer dog/cat tolerant as opposed to DA or something). Whatever senior dog she ends up with better be healthy - because she's a walker, and I mean miles and miles of walking! My 82-year-old grandma who lives with my mom is the same way!

Too bad she's not closer! Fanny is too adorable!

Violet, I did not forget about her or you... I'm working on alternate arrangements since my 'foster' has vanished.

I'm hoping I can switch someone else out of another home and her into it.

oh. cmon, Angela, give them more than that. Poor Fanny was really nto having such a great tiem here. Had I know she was going to be stuck here(I didn't have room and having two very dominant females already here..last thing I needed was another female), I probably would have left her in the shelter. but alas..she was here..and we made the best of it. Well..Angela has been working non stop on her since before she ever left the shelter. And Fanny is currently living the serious good life with Angelas parents!!!

Yes, its true. My parents weren't necessarily "looking" for a dog, but Fanny aka Granny, melted their hearts :))
