Correction: Los Angeles, California is where this boy is.

I am hoping to find SOME HELP for this boy, Impound : A1073899. :pray

I don't know his name, but he's a BIG ass red Bully with a white chest and a bandage on his left ear from the removal of a Hematoma.

I am ONLY looking for help for him. Can anyone out there check on him? PLEASE!

I'd open my home to him if I could get him here.

There is a poster named NewOrleansSaint from SULA that posted a few threads down from this post. Maybe they could help?

Unfortunately, I don't have the 'say so' in what dogs we take in and we are currently at our maximum number of dogs.

Is this dog in a shelter? What's his story and info? (I tried to Google "North Central Shelter" in Louisiana and I couldn't find anything.)

I'll will definitely pass his info on to the people who make those decisions, but I cannot guarantee anything considering the outrageous numbers of calls for help we get every day.

I wish I had 'say so' though, look at that gorgeous face! :crybaby:

Ah, I thought the poster was looking for someone to pull and possibly transport, since the OP is out of state. If I misunderstood, I am sorry.

Edit - I googled. He's on Facebook.

Oh gosh,I am so very sorry. It's not Louisiana, it is Los Angelas, California. As for his story, I don't know it. I was forwarded his story via a Facebook Pit Rescue group I volunteer with.

I wish I were closer, I'd snatch him up in a heart beat!

If I could afford to pay for transport, I'd take him immediately! But I can't afford it and I doubt a Los Angelas Shelter will release to someone who lives in Virginia.

And yes, he is on Facebook, I was forwarded his story off there.

I cross-posted the note about Big Face from Pinups for Pitbulls on Facebook as well as the Jason Heigl Foundation's Facebook page. It was founded by Katherine Heigl and her mother in memory of Katherine's brother Jason. They're in LA, and maybe if the foundation employees can't help, they might know someone who can. Long shot, I know, but then again, you never know.

Cross-country adoption is possible. Bennie, the senior in my avatar, came from PNWPBR Oregon. I live in NC. He was in a shelter, and PNWPBR pulled him for me after a rescue local to me did a home check. A collection was started here and at U-Care to get him out here. Perhaps a collection could be started for transport if a rescue was willing to pull and coordinate getting him a flight or other mode of transport. While I can't donate much, I would be willing to contribute.

There's also PilotsnPaws, volunteer pilots who fly dogs on their personal planes.

If a rescue was going to pull him I would think they would most likely want a rescue in your area to do a home check though.

Okay, I figured he was in L.A. when I couldn't find anything about him around here.

I wish the best to that big boy; he looks like such a sweetheart! :pray

In this photo at least he looks like he has a pretty Mastiff-y face, and if he's also a big guy and has a matching temperament, maybe a mastiff rescue could assess him?

I have no experience with these guys but just found them online:

That is awesome! Did they rescue him or had some other rescue group pick him up?

It read like another group rescued him, but they must have inquired about him. :)
