If you're looking for a fast and fun young dog, this guy just might be your man. Cinnamon (or Cin for short) is a high-energy dog who loves to play and misses having a family to hang around with. I'm told he loves to play ball and really enjoys toys. Cin previously lived in a home with two other dogs and children of various ages. As of right now, Cin doesn't really know any commands, but he's eager to please and would probably be a lot of fun to train and work with. He might even have sport potential if you're into that. And did I mention he's gorgeous? He's got a rich deep red coat and beautiful breed type.
Cin's mom says he rides well in the car and was a good dog at home. He walks well on a leash and doesn't pull a whole lot. He's currently in a kennel environment and will go in his room voluntarily for his meals or on command. His accidents are few and far between, usually when he's had to wait a long time to go out. He is a young dog still, so a lot of him is a work in progress. With other dogs, Cin has the potential to go either way. In his former home, he got along well with two other male dogs (one large and one small), but got in a scuffle when loose in the car with one of them. He will react to dogs running past his room, but doesn't usually fence-fight and settles down quickly.
Cin is currently staying at the Pampered Paws in Lubbock, TX. An adoption donation to cover the cost of his vetting is appreciated. If you would like to come and see Mr. Personality, please call the shop and ask for Angela or say you're inquiring about Cinnamon. He'd love to meet you!

And another person who had two already: one pregnant, and one "more of a guard dog," but swore that Cin would stay in the house as a beloved pet. Good times.
