Seasons greetings to everyone.
Fire station 44, located at 8275 western way, in the baymeadows area of Jacksonville has found a female pit bull/ mix dog. She is brown and white and has been spayed. She is very loving and playful.
When she showed up at our station, she was severely malnourished, dehydrated, and scared. We took her in and began rehabilitating her, trying to show her love and attention. We gave her a bath and someone at the station has even painted her toenails pink.
She has started to put weight on.
We have purchased a bed and toys, collar and leash, food and water bowls, dog food and treats.
We wish that we could keep her, however circumstances being what they are, we are unable. This is where you can help us out. If you would like to adopt her or know of someone who would, please contact me. I do not know if she is up to date on her shots so, I am having her taken in for all of her shots tomorrow.
I need your help in finding her a good home. I do not want to take her to a shelter, nor do I want to put her out on the street in the freezing temperatures. Its Christmas time, and I know there must be someone out there who can help us out. Thank you all for your time.
Merry Christmas
