Little Mazzy was heard barking for days on end in an apartment in san francisco. The neighbors hadn't seen anyone coming or going for a while so they called ACC. The ACO arrived to find her with no food and water in a cockroach infested apartment full of feces and urine. Oh and she had one cropped ear. Off to the shelter she went and when her custody hold was up she went available for adoption. She was treated for the bit of demodex she had, and fattened and loved up. She sat for a month with no adoption interest and then on Christmas, a volunteer had her out on a walk when she was jumped by a pit bull that was running down the street dragging his leash. He bit her in the side and she had to have a couple of staples put in. At that point we all thought it best that Mazzy get out of the shelter and into a foster home so she came to my house.

What can I say... I am in love with this dog. She is so amazing and so loving despite all she has been through. She loves dogs, is friendly to all people and is just a fun little pup too. She is quickly getting the hang of living in a house and is just a joy to foster.

She's also insanely adorable.

Mazzy will be available soon with gratefuldogsrescue.org in San Francisco.
