He needs more training as he has really only been worked on the basics in the shelter setting, but he is doing well. His ex-foster mom said he assimilated quickly into her house and got along well with her pack. I can get more pics of him this weekend.
Joe really sounds like our perfect dog. I don't mind a little training, I just need a medium energy pup to match our family/pack lifestyle, and he needs to be good with cats. We're looking for a dog to be my fiance's companion, but he keeps going back and forth between wanting a dog now or waiting until after he gets back from deployment (deploy in a year, gone for a year, so a 2 year wait)... he's driving me batty!! One week he's talking about having a dog as soon as we get the house in 6 weeks, the next he wants to wait till after deployment.
I want to get a dog now so we can think about 2 legged kids after he gets back from deployment
He does like Joe a lot though, and told me last night if Joe was in a situation where he needs a home NOW, we have a place for him. Joe of course needs to go wherever the best home is for him, we are 100% forever, but not necessarily 110% ready.

Keeping my fingers crossed!
