Shelter closed, these guys need help

Fingers, toes and paws all crossed. Stomping foot impatiently for an update????

Gotta get in touch with the landlord, considering we're giving our 30 days notice (Joe needed out before we got the acreage, and we have an awesome fenced yard where we live now) it shouldn't be an issue.

Airline shipping weather and landlord permitting, Joe should be here... oh, about 8pm on Saturday night

As soon as I get landlord approval I will be making a trip to petsmart... any votes on what color looks best on blue brindle boys?? I want to have a matching leash collar set waiting here for him as a welcome home present (along with his own food/water bowls since he'll have his own room the first couple weeks). Both my other dogs have numerous matching sets from collarmania and conferences etc. and I don't want Joe to feel left out!

I think dark tan/gold looks good on blue, dark red, brown, and dark charcoal blue. It'd be easier if Joe was a girl Orange would probably look nice on him too! Not bright orange, but like...the orange on the forum background, earthy, you know? Of course, orange is one of my favorite colors so I push it a lot

Sheila has a copper-orange collar, so he'll have that one in the rotation to try on. Its ALWAYS easier to fit the girls... thats why I need help!!

Can't help with the collar thing. 99% of the time my dogs wear leather: black or brown it matches with everything.

Congrats Miss Kiwi, you can't go wrong with a dog coming from Robin, she is very, very picky about what she will place in a home. Good luck, and can't wait to see some pics!!

Yeah, thats why we couldn't wait until we closed on the house... Joe seems like the perfect dog, perfect size, perfect energy, perfect temperament. Manners have been the only complaint, and those are easy enough to fix with consistency, and home is the best place for that anyway.

AND!!!! my landlady said OK... so I went to petco to celebrate. We have a big bag of Nutro Naturals food for the transition period (I will switch him to Pro Plan as this bag runs out), a brown leather leash collar combo, seemed the best quality for the price at inch and a half width, and his own food/water bowl so he can eat in the other room during transition.

And he's dang near PERFECT except for some minor puppy stuff... if he's this laid back and focused as a pup, I just know he's going to grow up to be the perfect dog. His thread is in the miscellaneous section for anyone who missed it!
