Chicago Area Rescues???

I saw a quite a few listed on PBRC in Illinois, but I was wondering if someone could give a solid recommendation for one? A local friend of mine has a sister there, and they found a stray pit bull and they want the help of a rescue, but I don't want to send them to someone who isn't quality. Any suggestions?

hmm, i wonder why i've never run across these... esp. since i'm ALWAYS looking for rescues in the area. since i want to adopt in a few months.
