Zena in Michigan

This little girl wandered into the right place, she was found as a stray by the daughter of my local animal shelter. The girl already has an 11 year old pit and a 15 yr old pit and is unable to keep this pretty little girl! She is a pit/lab mix with an estimated age of about 1 year. She is great with the other dogs and GREAT with the kids (one is 3). The only down fall that they are having with this girl is she is very protective of the kids and doesn't like the other dogs getting close to them. The woman wants to keep her, but is afraid that her kids are going to accidently get in the middle if a fight breaks out. Zena is located down by Flint, MI. If anyone can help! I'm going to be contacted the Kalamazoo animal rescue. The girl has also offered to help cover the cost of getting Zena spayed!
