From the moment I saw this boy I fell in love. He has awesome focus for training! In a room full of 16 excited talkative people he focused on one handler for 1 minute and a half but someone else called him, for recall practice.

He looks like he has had a hard life, there is a semi thick scar that circles right about his back right dewclaw. That actually looks as though whatever made that line also cut into his dewclaw. Poorly docked tail, looks like it was docked without a veterinarian at an older age. He has a scar down his back, cropped ears that were not stood up or taped. But his conformation is good.

Also he is a bit nervous, and froze with forced handling, but still isn't shut down nervous or fearful and may prove to be an easy fix.

The shelter has not named him, but I call him Garren which means guardian in German.

Someone give this boy a home because he deserves it!

He is a purebred Doberman Pinscher, at least by looks. If you saw his body, and facial structure you wouldn't doubt it. ... r-11338893
