Mica is getting baby sat this weekend (I'm going on vacation!!!!!! only for 24 hours but out of town none the less!) by a friend of mine who is an awesome dog owner who is currently dog-less. Fingers crossed she falls in love

Re: Mica needs a home-Maryland
Mica is still up for adoption!
She was evaluated by trainer Aja Harris of Mutt Magic this weekend so she can go under Ethical Bull Breed Rescue and Referral. She did very well in her evaluation and was a very brave and confident dog despite being in a new place, with new people in a busy area of the city! She immietly leaped into Aja's arms and tolerated all sorts of handling beautifully. She was introduced to one of Aja's male Pit Bulls and did very well aside from a little bit of inappropriate jumping. She also recently interacted with another bossy female pit bull under supervision and did pretty well. She would still need to be ultra managed in a multi dog home-but she is far from flat out dog aggressive.
May I also add that Mica is 100% house trained even in other people's homes, has no separation anxiety and is good with kitties??? Take this girl home!

Maddy,
I will finish getting her on all the websites... we had a bit of an emergency with our Bean. He had a blockage and had to have surgery so I have lots of stuff to catch up on... and your my number one priority!

*Bump*
Hey PBF... we need some help with Mica... anyone local interested in fostering and continue training with Mica? If so email me at mdebbrr@yahoo.com. We have had very few emails and zero applications on her.

Re: Mica needs a home-Maryland
Maybe if she were crossposted with other rescues, too? Maybe Jasmine's House would put her up on their site too, so she could get more exposure? Has she gone to any adoption events? Poor girl.

Re: Mica needs a home-Maryland
Is she up on the MD SPCA rehoming site? There are rescues that post there, it's not just for individual rehomes -

Re: Mica needs a home-Maryland
You know Erin... I didn't even think about that... I am a little rusty these days. Amie... my listings were never approved, not sure why. I think Jelly was the last dog I tried to submit.
She is on the usual, pbrc, petfinder, adoptapet, petharbor, etc.

Re: Mica needs a home-Maryland
If anyone could set me up with an adoption event I'd be happy to attend, would have to work out a good system with the other dogs there tough. Might be tough.
Don't forget about ms. mica. She's so ready to go home. I do my best with her, but time is harder to find and life seems to be getting more stressful all the time. This dog needs more. She's such a great dog, everyone who meets her falls in love with her, yet no one is in the right place for a new pup. Definitely taking a break from fostering after this one
