Adult Male Pit Bull for adoption/fostering-check the ears!

I love Pitties with huge ears. This is the latest rescue (thanks mom). He has been wandering around her street for several weeks now getting skinnier and skinnier. While loose dogs are nothing new to her neighborhood, when they look like they aren't being fed, that becomes a problem. So after coaxing with a few bowls of food, she now has him in her house. A different foster home would be best since she just recently lost her job and still has the 2 puppies, but it is what it is.

He's friendly and goofy. Knows sit and down, but could know more. Since he looks like a giant Boston Terrier (with a longer nose) he's been dubbed Boston for now.

He hasn't had any vet work done yet, but will prior to adoption which will include: neutering, vaccinations, heartworm test (treatment if needed) and micro chipping.

We're taking applications now.

You're in Houston? So am I.

Wish we could foster but we JUST moved back last week (prior military) and are trying to find a house and all that fun stuff. Staying with the inlaws for now. No fostering allowed here lol

UPDATE: Boston just got neutered, vaccinated and.....is HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!! We still haven't tested him with other dogs, it's hard to get anyone to help me with that. My mom gets really nervous and paranoid about Pit Bull introductions. He's met the cats and is very interested in them. I think his only experience with them has been chasing them on the streets so he seems anxious and ready for the chase when confronted with them, but he's been nose to nose without wanting to kill, so that's a little promising.

awww Good luck to him! he is CUTE! Reminds me of Atlas, a previous foster I had. he was a "seal and white" and had HUGE Ears like that. He lived with my cat, But liked to chase them as well, So it was just a matter of teaching him. He went to a home with like 3-4 cats and another dog

He was a AWESOME Dog! Loved him!

Current stats on Boston.
Weight: 50lbs
Medicals: neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative!
Gets along with: dogs/puppies and kids, still curious about the cats
Training: sit, down, heal, working on roll over, crate and house trained

He's just a big goof ball and he's ready for adoption!

For a split second here I thought you stole my Bailey! She looks just like the brindle in this picture.

This picture shows your dog has a shorter muzzle.

If you're referring to the brindle one, she's just all around petite. She only weighs about 38lbs and is just a compact little dog. She's also available for adoption.

Adoption pending. I have a good home lined up for Boston and we're doing the meet n greet today. The whole process is taken care of and everything is go as long as she falls in love upon meeting him. Say a little prayer for Boston today. I'm sure he'll put on his usual, goofy charm and seal the deal.

Well, she did love him, but he was too much for her to handle. He knows his basic obedience, but he needs someone to be firm with him and she just wasn't firm enough or confortable enough in her handling skills. He's very strong and she's not strong enough. So, no go this time.
