That is awesome what you and your husband did.

That story reminds me of how my mom found our dog Sadie. She was running around the ship yard and my mom got worried she was going to get ran over, so she brought her home.

My mom told me she was bringing home a stray that had been running around the shipyard for a couple of weeks. I expected it to be lean if not at least underweight, but when she brought in this dog that was actually overweight, I said, "That is the fattest stray dog I have ever seen."

It turns out the truck drivers had been feeding her everything from omelettes to cheeseburgers and fries for about a month. At first she wasn't very happy with the dry food we gave her.

Honey had been fed the guys' lunch scraps from three different constructions yards up there too. That's why Steven didn't notice she was pregnant at first, lol.

Strays seem to make awesome dogs, but Honey does have a couple issues. She'll lunge a a closed door if she has food and another dog just walks by the door. (Which of course is managed by her being fed in a room alone.

If I didn't have five dogs of my own, Jazzy might be mine xD

The Boys: One is the biggest pup of the litter, the other is the runt. The runt had some issues with weight gain at about 5 days. I got a little scared there.

Oh my, Kandice! SO cute! You need to post pics with names so we can learn to separate them out! They are adorable! Have you had any bites on adoption yet? :inlove:

I have a few nibbles, most of them from people that have adopted pups from me before.

I'll list who I posted in the last batch of pictures:
First is Waldo
Second is Izzy
Third is Ziggy
Fourth is Pinky
Fifth is Molly.

If you want to see more pics, you can add me on facebook.

All of their names are listed on there =)

She thinks she's tough. I <3 her. If I kept one, it would probably be her. lol

My husband would keep Waldo.

Kandice, Bako?? If so me too. I would love to try and help you find homes for the little ones. I've tried to help folks find homes for pits before and i know it can be difficult especially trying to find "good" homes. But i'm willing to give you a hand in that dept. if you need it. Actually my wife is great at this kind of stuff and is more than willing to help too. Just let me know and i'll give you my contact info.
