American Bulldog help needed

All of her puppies have been adopted but no-one wants mama dog. she's going in for a consult on Monday for a possible THIRD surgery on her eyes. I don't know why the first two surgeries weren't complete. They looked good at first but during the healing the eyelids still roll back in, not bad and she's no longer in pain but her eyes still look funny and she's still scratching at them more than she should.

She is cat friendly and a wonderful house pet. She's a tough bitch though and needs an experienced home or at least a home that understands what firm leadership means. She's a definite home guardian. She's always within reach of my fingertips when I let her have free run of the house.

I so wish I could take her... I would have been able to before but my circumstances have since changed and it saddens me greatly...
Funny looking or not she is still gorgeous.
Im almost where I can get another home, better one at that!
Last I posted I was living in a trailer. Now staying with my mother and my fiance and I almost have enough for the downpayment and some extra security money to go on a new HOUSE! We are so excited!
When we do and if poor mama is still available, I would deffinately take her in. She has deffinately stolen my heart <3
