Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Free Spay/Neuter in certain zip codes in Dallas

Postby lucydog » Mon Jul 04, 2005 7:12 am

Now, this is a GREAT idea. And let's remind our legislators -- BSL doesn't contribute one cent to worthwhile programs such as this.

They took the zip codes with the highest number of calls to Animal Control and are offering free spay/neuter in these zip codes.

These clinics (HSUS and SPCA) always offer great services at greatly reduced prices, but for those of you who have neighbors who can't seem to stop producing puppies and kittens...

Thanks for posting that information Lucydog. I'm on a national spay neuter committee and this information will help us when we process aid applications for the Dallas area.

It is a great idea as long as they aren't attempting to 'inventory' pitbulls...
