Cindy Lou gets naughty

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Cindy Lou gets naughty

Postby pittymomma » Thu Aug 17, 2006 12:42 pm

Cin decided she needed to stay outside and eat the rest of the bark from her tree, well she had multiple bug bites when she came in and thought poor me I am all bumpy so I will do what I please!!!

oh Cindy Lou - you are naughty (and too cute).

I always hear Cartman from South Park saying "I do what I want!" when someone's being naughty. or the Christmas episode of My Name is Earl where Joy's mom keeps saying "don't you judge me!"

"Don't you judge me - I do what I want"

Awww poor lumpy girl!!! Our emergency vet nicknamed Molly "Lumpy" when she came in looking similar to that some time ago. Only we had NO IDEA what caused it.

I wonder if she had an allergic reaction to the bark? That seems like a lot of lumps for bug bites...

She looks alot like my old Pittie, Aiden. She has the same color, build.athleticness and sensitivity to bugs. We could never leave him outside...the skeeters and flies would kill him whereas they never seemed to really bother our other dogs. In the spring and fall the grass would also cause him to get an allergic reaction...his whole belly would turn red.

Gosh I wish I could have her but we have a lot of stuff going on. But I wondering about those bumps Dante has something kind of like those. He will get like 2 or 3 bumps somtimes a couple more than that and they look just like that. I really don't know whats wrong with him and they don't seem to bother him at all. Should I be concerned?

Oh, I almost forgot to mention...one of Aiden's nicknames was "gremlin" :)

Loki gets bumps like that from mosquito bites. But they go away after about an hour, not a month.

My dog gets bumps like that from being around grass. He gets hives daily and looks just like the dog in that picture  You can see sort of a "pattern" there of hives - that's common - they sort of come in lines sometimes. Sometimes dogs will react in different months, due to what is currently blooming locally then, as well.

Yes, my dog is allergic to grass...can you believe it?

I just give him an antihistamine when it's bad, and basically we do that almost every day from early spring until snow fall. The only time he doesn't break out is in Dec and Jan (which is of course when we originally adopted him when he was "hiveless"!)
