The beauty is ready & wants to leave Ontario!

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

The beauty is ready & wants to leave Ontario!

Postby Jp » Fri Aug 18, 2006 1:12 am

The beauty, Cindy Lou aka Leila aka on your couch ;) is now ready to find her very own people and home or a spot in rescue out of province.
Used for illegal breeding in Ontario, her future looked bleak.

At the shelter she pressed herself up against the metal bars just for a finger to touch her, to be told someone loves her and just be told that someone cares

Image

Out of the shelter and in boarding she wowed the vet and the staff with her happy go lucky attitude. She was the star of the kennel!

Now at her foster home, Cindy Lou has made a few friends

and is truly thankful to be alive

Cindy Lou is a pro with the springpole and is very athletic! She is fairly obedient (don't let the counter surfing fool you  ) and has great potential for agility if given the chance. She loves the outdoors and would love to even just hang outside with her people while they garden or barbecue.
Lou loves her crate and also enjoys relaxing on the couch and having a movie night. Have a bad day... Miss Lou is a comedian and will make you smile!

Although Cindy Lou has fallen madly inlove with her foster mommy and her foster siblings she is ready to start the search for a home of her own.

Cindy Lou is looking to get a ticket out of Ontario. She can also be fostered through rescue out of province.

Little Miss Lou could live in a supervised environment with a submissive dog (she's not to keen on pushy doggies trying to tell her what to do) and prefers to not live with the feline kind.

To everyone who donated to my paypal addy, Cindy and I graciously thank each and every one of you. It is sitting waiting to be used for Miss Lou's plane ticket when the right home is found.

Oh my gosh.... I KNOW I'll be getting Vince a friend when I get my own place.. I just can't wait.

She is BEAUTIFULL!!!!!

I can't wait to rescue one of those poor pups like her that press themselves into the bars just for a pat on the head.

(I visit my pounds pretty often and can't skip a single cage)

I don't know if it is "just me" but I always wonder why they put the "not friendly with cats" on the application. I have had alot of dogs and I havent had one that didnt chase my cats any chance they had. Could be just me-but I have had alot of dogs and completely different breeds(pugs, pekingese, collie, apbt, lab) and they all loved to chase them.
Anyway she is a very beautiful girl..whoever gets her will be lucky!

some dogs chase cats, some dogs kill cats.

you put "not good with cats" in the description when you fear that the dogs will do the latter!

most people who own cats would like to know that, rather than take their chances, so it pays for pit bull folk to be as careful as possible. can you imagine how tragic it would be to not err on the side of caution? it could be deadly.

I fostered a Pit that was so Prey driven, She nearly killed one of my cats, and I was bitten a couple of times trying to pry it out of her mouth.
This was a dog that I was told was harmless and just chased.

My Dogs have all chased the cats, but they do not actively "Hunt" them when they are in the house.
Chasing and interest is one thing..................Hunting and obsessing is another.
It doesn't take too long to find out which ones are which.........
Charlotte is such a beuty :inlove:

Yikes....................Confused as always lately.
Send me the Bio and Pics of Charlotte and I can Courtesy post them.
I have an open spot in foster for a female that is good with dogs and cats if you need me to fly one out, that fits the bill.
The foster home has 2 teenage girl, 2 cats, and 2 dogs.
