We need out of the shelter - can you help? - OREGON

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

We need out of the shelter - can you help? - OREGON

Postby karladaune » Tue Jul 31, 2007 6:56 pm

All are located at Clackamas County Animal Shelter in Oregon and they are full, full, full...

If you have any questions about any of these guys, please send me a PM.

I can help with transport!

Petra is ~ 6-7 months (loves all the dogs at the shelter, as well as all the people she is getting to meet. Very sweet little girl)

Paige is ~ 8 months

Viola is ~ 3 years

Ella is ~ 5 years (she is quiet, gentle, and gets along great with other dogs.)

Bo is ~ 5-6 years (listed as a Pointer mix)

OMG......They are all cute!
Bo is quite the handsome boy...pointer mix?? I don't see it.

Are any of them cat friendly? I know of an adopter looking for a cat friendly Blue Pit.

Not sure if any have been cat tested...other than the handsome redbone hound they have (HE PASSED SURPRISINGLY!) Know anybody looking for a QUIET, cat friendly hound dog? lol

I will ask them to test Ella tomorrow.

Yeah, I dont see pointer in Bo either, other than MAYBE his spots, I just see a handsome boy.

Not sure if the shelter is willing to do Maryland or not, but I can ask. If transport/homecheck etc could be worked out, I dont see that it would be an issue. Let me see what I can find out...

Per the shelter director:

No idea how she is with little children, as they have not had any come to visit her. She is quiet and gentle with everybody else she has met tho. As for out of state adoptions, they would request that a rescue in Maryland pull her and the facilitate the adoption. Transportation would also have to be arranged some how.

Ella is GORGEOUS!!! :inlove: Hopefully Ellena can do some detective work on her for me...perhaps she can join Toby and I...she does look a little big though...it would SUCK if the only thing blocking her from joining us was her size (50 lb limit here). A few pounds would be no biggy obviously, but much more and I'd be worried...

Isnt she just cool looking?? I love her eyes...

Hopefully shes a short and stocky one...even if she is 60, she could pass for less if she is short enough

I have a "possible" person interested in Ella the blue and white one.
they saw her on here but thought she was BO because of the missing picture.

This couple has a male Pit who is submissive, and a cat too.

Let me know how the testing goes.
