PROSSER, WA-SPARED but needs RESCUE PLEASE!

PROSSER, WA ---

I COULD NOT DO IT. He's still alive and hoping with everything crossed that a rescue can make a spot for him.
He is the nicest danged dog on the face of the earth. All he wants is loving.
He picks up his rawhide (I know they are horrible but hey...every day could be his last) and totes it around so happy to have it and proud he has it.
And he's not in the least bit aggressive. PLEASE Someone out there must have a spot...!!!
He looks like a Blue Fawn.
Available to a rescue group only.
We can transport at least partway if someone can help him.
A Paw Up will pay for at least 1/2 his neuter as well (about as much as we'd pay here at our own vet anyway) unless of course you are lucky and get free pit neuters!!!!
Anyway - he has been spared but needs a spot...SOON!

No...I could temp. foster for a day or two and help transport but I hesitate as our landlords' son is a criminal (thief, drugs, alcohol) and I'm afraid he'd see the dog and try to steal it :(

OMG, he is so handsome. If only I didn't have way too many already.

He is so good looking. Did you ever find him a home?

Not to bring my own thread too far off topic ;) but there are hundreds of dogs like this one in shelters near you. I agree as well, an adult's temperment is more "set" and won't change like a puppy's can.
Please check your area shelters.

He IS pretty. Curious, why can he only be released to a rescue?

Around a year.
I'd never adopt a pit bull out without proper temp. testing.
This is a brick building with 8 useable kennels. No staff at all.
Just someone to feed the dogs 1x a day and clean (my job).
Plus as V. said, they are regulated here, with BSL, and up and down the Valley.
He also needs neutered and some meds for possible ringworm, so I'd not adopt him out intact.

I have Ketaconazole left over from my foster cat ringworm fiasco. Might not be enough for a full course of treatment, but if you find a foster for him, I'll be happy to send it & some antifungal shampoo/conditioner.
