Vito has found his FOREVER home!!!
His new mommy owns/runs/lives on a farm animal sanctuary/rescue, was previously an animal control officer, and has extensive bully breed experience. We drove him up yesterday. She has fenced in a 200 sq. ft. area just for him to run loose in! He met, and instantly took to his four-legged pittie sister and 2 ten year old two-legged brothers.
He met the cows and received a big lick on the head. Met the horses and thought they were pretty cool too....it was too late for him to meet the Emu's but I can't wait to see pictures of that.
To see the blatant joy in his face as he ran around the yard with his new sister was a wonderful reminder of why I continue to do rescue.
I spoke with his new mommy this morning and they are totally in love with him.
I SO wanted to right by this boy and I think we finally have.

Some pics from Vito's new family...he's doing well, not without a few issues, but they're hanging in there.
They're even teaching him to pull the kids on the sled. This is his Pittie sister Rosie showing him how it's done...
