How do rescues feel about people getting dogs and moving out of state soon after?? Assuming all other qualities of the applicant are optimal...

I'm guessing that most would prefer and/or even demand that you get a rescue puppy near your new home...am i right???

Depends on your situation and the rescue. It never hurts to contact a rescue.

Well I've never dictated to someone that they can't ever move just because they adopted a dog from us! We do require that they notify us in writing at least 30 days before a move and give us updated addresses, phone numbers, and e-mails though. Just in case.
