Postby formaximus » Thu Jan 24, 2008 3:24 pm

Hey folks,

One of my techs is looking for a pitty pup. Anyone know of one up for adoption or rescue within a descent distance of the DC Metro area???

Please let us know of anything.

i know i talked to susan at a rescue in the PA/MD region called pitts and rotts for life, and she told me they have taken in a lot of puppies recently.

they are on petfinder, and their email is Pitsrotts4life@aol.com

Beginning next week, I'll be fostering a beautiful little Blue female Pit puppy. She is coming to me spayed and UTD on her vaccines.

I have a pit, just not on this computer.

Drop me a PM.

:frown: I will not be taking on the little female blue pit puppy I mentioned.

She has some very serious aggression issues with animals. BUT she's a lover with humans and since I have a house full of animals, she's staying where she's at. :frown:

She is several emaciated, guards her food, and attacks any animal who gets close to it or gets close to her. That is all I've been told about her so far.

Poor dear!! :crybaby:

There have been several (from the young pup to <2yo range) posted on craigslist in the last few days. They all look like they are owned by reasonable people looking to rehome correctly, not sell the dog for profit.

Maverick is 18 months, housebroken, crate trained, good with females and such a sweet sweet boy. He's in Harrisonburg VA. Neutered, microchipped, UTD and HW negative.

He's awesome. I could totally see myself keeping him if I was his foster. He's like a drug.

OP- If you are still interested, I could probably assist with transporting the one dog in Harrisonburg or any of the dogs in NC (or any other dog that would be traveling along I-81)...

hey folks, I am sorry I forgot to update the thread!

We found a beautiful 13 week old pitty. As a matter of fact we stumbled across a guy that had to get rid of his because his girl was allergic and they ran out of options.

The most amazing part about it is that the new guy, Memphis turned out to be from the same litter as my Maximus! When we found this out we jumped in the car and drove the 3 hours to Va Beach and I'm happy to report that the smash brothers are loving each other! I'll get some pics up tomorrow.
