if they are fostering him for the shelter they can NOT adopt him out, the dog belongs to the shelter first and foremost. the only way they can adopt him out is if they adopted himfrom the shelter and have adoption papers to prove it. Why dont they contact the shelter since they are only fostering him?? something sounds not quite right. if i am fostering a dog for a shelter or rescue and something happens that i cant foster anymore, the dog must go back to the shelter/rescue that he belongs too. and, why didnt they check with their association BEFORE fostering him?? they state they have only had him for 2 weeks, i guess the honeymoon period is over.
