FREE to Good Home! Almost..with strings attached ;) WA state

Ok..DRAW is offering a special spring/summer deal with specific dogs. So here is the deal. Adoption process is as usual, application, home check, meet and greet. But instead of paying the adoption fee, siging the contract and welcoming home your new dog..NOW you only actually pay a $25 refundable fee to us. Here is how it works.

Prior to signing the contract, adopter must prepay for obedience training. We WILL follow up to make sure obedience training is completed. We have several trainers we can refer to in our area who offer discounts for individual or group classes to our adopters.

Provide proof of prepaid training, pay $25 refundable fee and let your new family member join you. In order to have the $25 fee refunded, however, you must complete the obedience training and prepare your dog to pass his/her CGC and WE will pay for the CGC certification!

The dogs currently eligible for this offer are as follows...

Newman! **ADOPTED**

And Sharri..Sharri is about ten months old nd she is a VERY sweet young girl. She is all the things a ten month old pit bull mix with some added bonuses. We think Sharri is part pointer and she certainly shows some traits of such like well..pointing. She has good prey drive and is very determined to get what she is following. Did I mention she would be best in a home without small animals? unless of course you want her finding them and um..removing them from the population. Shari is incredibly bright and wants very much to please. She is housebroken, crate trained and knows sit and down. LOVES all humans but is probably too much dog for children under 5.

This is Lucy!!! Lucy is a six month old little girl who is VERY sweet. She loves all humans and gets along well with other dogs politely. She is smart and eager to please and is looking for a home who is ready for the love of their lives. maybe an active family with kids? Someone with a compatible male dog? Lucy has not been cat tested but can be. She is laid back enough she might be a possibility with the kitties.

keep checking back as we update!!! New dogs arriving soon!!!

I think that's great! The shelter we adopted Molly from required proof of enrollment in a training class in order to pick up the dog. We would have taken her to training anyway for ourselves but we probably would not have signed up for a class right away.

I think alot of people are like that..and then life gets in the way. With young semi adult dogs I think the obedience classes REALLY make the bonding process go faster. not to mention it helps use up some of that extra energy they have at this stage.

So far we have gotten nothing but a positive response to our offer. :))

Newman has an official adoption pending. And it is a done deal as soon as his new owners finish closing on their new house. by the tenth of June!!! Newman will have a 7 year old little girl that he already adores and a two year old little rough and tumble boy. And a mommy and daddy who are incredibly excited about starting his obedience training!

Sharri is stunning! I cannot believe she hasn't been adopted yet.

Good luck on finding homes for these adorable babies!

WE cannot believe Sharri is still with us either. But no one even seems intersted. It is so sad to have such a great dog waiting for so long. She has been with us for just under six months now and we have gotten ONE inquiry. :frown:

Newman has GONE HOME!!!! Talk about motivated adopters! They are buying their house from their landlord but the deal does not close until June 10th. But in the mean time..they paid a pet fee to bring him home two weeks early and got a letter from their landlord! :headbang:
