Fundraising to stop Bill 132 - Ontario, Canada

Why buy from a breeder when there are plenty of homeless pups in shelters???

Fundraising to stop Bill 132 - Ontario, Canada

Banned Aid was formed to fight the province-wide breed specific legislation in Ontario, Canada. Your financial support will help save the lives of innocent dogs whose only crime is their looks.

A great place to read up on the Ban and of course a great place to donate if you can.

I thought the bill had already been reviewed and would not go for reassessment again. Is this untrue? Will a judge be reviewing the bill again? It would be awesome to see it overturned like in Holland!

Allie,

Hello everyone,

Our appeal for the Constitutional Challenge of Bill 132 in Ontario, will be heard on Mon Sept 15 and Tues Sept 16 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Osgoode Hall, 130 Queen St. West in Toronto. Room to be determined the Friday before.

We just want to take this oppertunity to thank everyone who has stepped up to the plate and supported the Legal Challenge of one of the most significant threats to dog ownership in Canada.
The responce to the CKC fund-raising initiative has been overwhelming!

As we move forward into the home streach, funds are still desperately needed to continue.
Everything is greatly appreciated!

On behalf of the Banned-Aid Coalition

THANKS!!

I know about as much as you do...

The previous judges decision is being appealed. We don't get to know details, as you can imagine what would happen if the Fiberals were trolling forums etc. and knew the arguments we were going to present...

Guess I should have paid more attention in school b/c this legal stuff makes very little sense to me lol
