Obie is 11 weeks old as of today (born 12.28.03). No one is certain who his dad was, but his mom was a pit bull terrier that was brought in to Animal Control before she gave birth to 12 pups (yes, 12!). Before they were six weeks old, four of the pups were stolen, one of the pups had to be PTS due to illness, and another was adopted out (!); the rest (including mom) were to be put to sleep...Enter Chicagoland Bully Breed Rescue, who picked everyone else up and brought them back to Chicago.
Obie's troubles didn't end there...he came down with parvo, but wa VERY lucky and his tough little body kicked the bug within two days! He's still recovering of course, so he's not allowed to run around outside yet. His little sis Peanut wasn't quite so lucky, but she's better now, too
. This tough little guy has been through so much in his short lifetime; he deserves to get some time to kick back and relax in his forever home!
