Sunscreen question

What brand has everyone had the best luck with. I bought this stuff for kids because it wasn't supposed to hurt the eyes. It is very thick, but I'm having a hard time getting it to penetrate through the fur in all places. It seems like a liquid would be better over this thick lotion, but I don't want to turn them off to it by getting stinging eyes. Also, aerosol is out, Doc attacks the cans with a vengence. I found this out the hard way using duster on the keyboard. :roll:

I'm trying to avoid heading to the make up counter to drop the cash on Clinique, but it's the only one I've seen in a liquid that isn't mostly alcohol .

Have you looked into horse sunscreen? Some of them have bug repellent in them as well, as an added bonus.

Man, I just need to find a tack shop around here. It's been so many years since I've ridden that I can't remeber where they are.

I have very sensitve skin and an allergy to metal, the only sun screen I can use is PreSun. In this brand I can ONLY use the gel, purple and white label. I use it on my horses white noses and they don't have any problem with it. Since it's a gel it isn't goopy and absorbes real fast. Good luck.

Gel! Perfect! Is that over the counter or also a horse supply?

It's over the counter but you might have to look at a pharmacy..... that's where I get mine.
