puppy hiccups

My puppy get's the hiccups at leat 2 times a day and the last anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. It doesen't necessarily go along with feeding times or sleeping times or anything. I was just wundering if this was normal.

Come to think of it, Lilo used to get hiccups when she was younger. I haven't noticed her having them in a long time though...

Titan had hiccups alot when he was a pup. We could never figure out if there was something that set him off, or it was just coincidence. They never seemed to bother him, and went away pretty quickly.

Liesel gets the hiccups quite often. I just figured it was because she's a food gulper. Sometimes those hiccups are accompanied by her just eaten dinner.

My puppie is almost 9 weeks and he get the hiccups alot. I asked my vet about them and she said its very common and normal in puppies.

ok thanks for all the replies guys. Thats basically what i thought. She goes back to the vet next week for her second set of shots. I'll check with him too just in case.

Vicki had hiccups ALL the time up until about 24 weeks. She still get's them occasionally, though not as much.

As an adult, Riley got them all of the time.
