Thats a pity if he is a mix but he is still my big boy. I feel kind of bad taking he's "man hood" away from him but do you think it's a wise decission?

He seems to have some long-ish hair, unless that's just the pictures. He's at least part APBT, but I don't know if he's purebred.

As for the neutering question, you'll find most people on this board are in favor of getting dogs spayed/neutered unless they're being used as part of a reputable breeding program. A lot of people here have rescues, and those dogs are altered before going home with the new family. Neutering is your choice, but he wont miss it, that's for sure. :)

Oh yeah, just to warn you, you might want to keep all your replies to one post. The more posts you make in the intro section, the harder it is for the mods to keep track of who's been approved for posting privleges and not.

he's beautiful!
imo neutering makes for a happier dog.... not alwys thinking 'bout getting to the gals, more settled - also healthwise is best.... my adopted guy was neutered on day 2 and he just rolled on along lol

Nothing wrong with him being a mix.It does not take his personality away, which is probably what you like about him.

There is no reason to have an intact male as a pet.Neutering have some benefit as well, on top of knowing that your dog won't contribute to the overpopulation problem if he gets around an intact female. He does not know what "manhood" is, nor care about it.It is not like he is going to hate you if you neuter him, or wanting to wear a pink purse or paint his nails. He will be the same dog, minus dangling balls.

lol She's right. My male is still all dog, and besides, he doesn't suffer when some female in the neighborhood goes into heat.

There's always a chance that your intact boy might impregnate a non spayed female which is just what the world doesn't need.
There are many good reasons for neutering...try here for some:

OH YEAH...your dog is a great looking one. Take care of him and have fun!

Yeah get him neuteres. AN intact dog that does not have "release" gets VERY sexually frustrated and therefor more aggressive. Not to be funny or anything, it's the truth.

Get him neutered, he doesn't need his "manhood"
